Products & Materials
What’s the difference between Canvas, Metal Framed, Wooden Framed, and Framed Canvas?
Canvas is hand-stretched archival cotton-poly canvas on FSC-certified wooden bars — the gallery-loft aesthetic, lightweight, contemporary. Metal Framed is ChromaLuxe aluminum print in a precision metal frame — modern weight, scratch-resistant, the most premium feel. Wooden Framed is museum-grade matte fine art paper under glass in solid wood (oak, walnut, or black) — the classic gallery presentation. Framed Canvas — our signature format — is cotton-poly canvas set inside a slim solid-wood floater frame (Black or Dark Wood), the print floating with a fine shadow gap. All four meet our archival standard.
Are LACO ART prints archival?
Yes. Every format uses pigment-based inks rated for 100+ years against light fading, on acid-free or archival-grade substrates. Frames use FSC-certified wood. Glass on Wooden Framed is UV-protective.
What sizes do you offer?
Size availability depends on format. Canvas typically ranges 30×40 cm to 100×140 cm. Metal Framed: 30×40 cm to 90×120 cm. Wooden Framed: 30×40 cm to 70×100 cm. Framed Canvas: 40×60 cm to 60×80 cm. Each product page shows the size matrix for that piece.
Can I see a sample before ordering?
We don’t offer free samples (every piece is produced-to-order), but our 30-day quality guarantee covers any issue — if your piece arrives and isn’t what you expected from a quality standpoint, we’ll resolve via photo verification.
Where are products produced?
At one of our partner production facilities, chosen by your shipping address. This means your order is typically produced and shipped from within your region — faster delivery, lower carbon footprint, consistent quality.
What makes Gallery Editions different from other collections?
Gallery Editions are our limited-run heritage prints. Each design carries an edition number (e.g., No. 01/250), edition date, and explicit “First Edition” designation. They’re conceived and printed as collectible editions, not open-stock.
Ordering & Shipping
How long does shipping take?
Processing takes 2–4 business days (each piece is printed-to-order). After processing: US 3–5 business days, EU 4–7 days, UK 4–6 days, Australia 5–8 days, Canada 4–6 days, Japan 5–8 days, rest of world 7–12 days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — to the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, European Union, Australia, Japan, and most other countries. If checkout completes with your address, we can ship to you.
Is shipping really free worldwide?
Yes. Free standard shipping on all orders, no minimum purchase, no fine print. Duties and customs (if applicable for your country) are not included.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You’ll receive an email with tracking information once your piece ships from the production facility.
Will I be charged customs or duties?
For non-US destinations, your local customs may apply duties or VAT on import. These are determined by your country’s regulations and are paid by you, not LACO ART. EU/UK orders are typically delivered duty-paid where the production facility is in-region.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact support@lacoart.com within 4 hours of placing your order. After 4 hours, production typically begins and changes can’t be made.
Returns & Quality
What if my piece arrives damaged?
Email support@lacoart.com within 30 days with your order number and clear photos showing the issue. We respond within 2 business days and resolve via replacement or full refund. No physical return required.
Do you accept returns?
Because every LACO ART piece is printed-to-order, we don’t accept physical returns. We do offer a 30-day quality guarantee — if your piece arrives damaged or with a print defect, we replace or refund at our discretion based on photo verification.
What’s your quality guarantee?
30 days from delivery. Covers manufacturing defects, print errors, damage in transit. Doesn’t cover color variation within normal printing tolerance, or buyer’s remorse (since every piece is custom-produced for you).
How do I report an issue?
Email support@lacoart.com with: your order number, clear photos of the issue, brief description. Response within 2 business days.
Do I need to ship the damaged piece back?
No. In nearly all cases, photo verification is sufficient. For exceptional cases requiring physical inspection, our support team will provide return instructions and a shipping address via email. Please do not ship items to any address without explicit authorization from support — we cannot accept unsolicited returns.
Care & Display
How do I clean my piece?
Canvas: dust with a soft dry microfiber cloth, no liquids. Metal: dust gently with a soft cloth, occasional wipe with damp cloth if needed (no abrasives). Wooden Framed: dust frame with soft cloth, clean glass with standard glass cleaner sprayed onto the cloth (not directly on glass). Framed Canvas: dust the canvas surface and the wood floater frame with a soft dry cloth; no liquids on the canvas.
What environment is best?
Indoor only. Avoid direct sunlight (use UV-filtering windows or hang on perpendicular walls). Stable temperature 18–24°C / 65–75°F. Humidity 40–60%. Avoid bathrooms and kitchens (humidity + temperature swings).
Should I hang my piece in direct sunlight?
No. Even with archival inks and UV-protective glass, prolonged direct sunlight will accelerate fading over decades. Hang on walls perpendicular to windows or in lower-light positions for maximum longevity.
What hardware do I need for hanging?
Canvas comes with sawtooth or wire hanger pre-installed. Metal Framed has integrated wall mount. Wooden Framed has D-ring hanger. Framed Canvas ships with the hanging kit included, ready to hang. For pieces over 60×80 cm, use two anchor points + appropriate wall anchors for your wall type (drywall, plaster, brick).
How long will my piece last?
Under recommended conditions (indoor, no direct sun, stable environment): 100+ years for the print itself, multiple decades for the framing materials. Archival ratings are based on accelerated aging tests.
Brand & Editions
What are Gallery Editions?
Limited-run heritage prints. Each design in this collection is numbered (No. XX/250) and dated. They’re printed in editions of up to 250 worldwide. Once an edition closes, that specific run won’t be reprinted.
Are designs limited?
Gallery Editions are explicitly limited to 250. Other collections are open editions — they remain in the catalog as long as we offer them, with occasional retirement.
Can I commission a custom piece?
We don’t offer fully custom commissions, but we welcome design suggestions. Email support@lacoart.com with your idea.
Where can I see new releases first?

Do you offer wholesale or trade pricing?
For galleries, designers, and trade professionals — yes. Email support@lacoart.com with your business details and intended order volume. We’ll respond with our trade program terms.
